Making Matcha Kale Chips at Home

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Large Bunch of Curly Kale

  • 3 Tablespoons of Soy Sauce (or Coconut Aminos)

  • 3 Tablespoons of Toasted Sesame Oil

  • 1 Tablespoon of Matcha Green Tea

  • 1 Tablespoon of Garlic Powder

  • 1 Teaspoon of Chili Powder (optional)

METHOD

  • Preheat the oven to 180*C/350*F/Gas Mark 4

  • Thoroughly wash the kale, remove the stems and tear into bite sized pieces

  • In a bowl, mix together the coconut aminos, toasted sesame oil, matcha green tea, garlic powder and optional chili powder

  • Place the kale pieces in a large bowl and pour over the mixture and ensure that all the kale is coated with the mixture

  • Place on two baking sheets in a single layer and bake for 15-20 minutes.

  • After 7-10 minutes, turn the kale pieces over and continue to bake for a further 7-10 minutes

  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool down before enjoying :)
