Making a Chai Tea Affogato at Home
INGREDIENTS (Serves 2)
Ice cream of choice (dairy or non dairy)
2-3 Teaspoons of masala chai (or 2 tea bags)
Chopped nuts, grated chocolate, caramel - optional, to serve
METHOD
Brew the chai tea in 1/2 a cup of freshly boiled water and allow to steep for around 5 minutes before straining out the leaves.
Place 1 scoop of ice cream in each bowl and pour the hot tea over the top, add optional toppings and enjoy!
