Vanilla Cashew Creamer for Tea

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Cup (100g) of Raw Cashews

  • 1 Tablespoon of Honey, Agave or Maple Syrup - to Taste

  • 1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

  • Pinch of Salt

METHOD

  • Firstly, cover the cashews with water in a container with a lid, and then pop in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, or preferably overnight. The longer you soak them, the creamier they will become.

  • After they have been soaked, drain and rise the cashews thoroughly.

  • Add 1.5 Cups (12oz) of water to the cashews, sweetener of choice, vanilla and salt into a blender.

  • Keep blending until smooth. This will take at least 5 minutes of blending. Keep going until its really really smooth and combined.

  • Pour into a jug with a secure lid and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.

  • To use the cashew creamer, give it a stir or shake and pour into your favorite tea or coffee. Enjoy :)
