1 Cup (100g) of Raw Cashews
1 Tablespoon of Honey, Agave or Maple Syrup - to Taste
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Pinch of Salt
METHOD
Firstly, cover the cashews with water in a container with a lid, and then pop in the fridge for a minimum of 4 hours, or preferably overnight. The longer you soak them, the creamier they will become.
After they have been soaked, drain and rise the cashews thoroughly.
Add 1.5 Cups (12oz) of water to the cashews, sweetener of choice, vanilla and salt into a blender.
Keep blending until smooth. This will take at least 5 minutes of blending. Keep going until its really really smooth and combined.
Pour into a jug with a secure lid and store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
To use the cashew creamer, give it a stir or shake and pour into your favorite tea or coffee. Enjoy :)
