How to Make an Eggnog Tea Latte From Scratch
Firstly, heat your milk of choice, add your tea and allow to steep before removing the tea leaves. Next, add your sweetener, vanilla and eggnog. Mix up with a milk frother, milk steamer or blender if you have one. Serve in cups or mugs and add whipped cream and a dusting of nutmeg :)
INGREDIENTS (Serves 2)
2 Heaped Teaspoons of Black Tea
2 Cups (16fl oz) of Milk (Regular, Almond, Oat, Soy etc…)
1/2 Cup (4fl oz) of Eggnog
1-2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup/Honey/Agave - Optional
1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract
Nutmeg for Serving - Optional
Whipped Cream for Serving - Optional
METHOD
In a small saucepan, warm the almond milk, take off the heat and add the black tea. Infuse the leaves for 7-10 minutes.
Strain the tea leaves, add the eggnog, vanilla extract and optional sweetener.
Using a milk frother or blender, whizz up to create some frothy latte-bubbles.
Pour into cups and add whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
Add a dash of dark rum or amaretto for a tipsy tea latte :)
