Making Green Tea and Collagen Eye Masks at Home

INGREDIENTS (Makes 10 Pairs of Eye Masks)

  • 10 Cotton squares

  • 2 Tablespoons of matcha green tea

  • 1 Tablespoon of camomile flowers

  • 1 Teaspoon of coconut oil

  • 1 inch piece of cucumber

  • 1 Teaspoon of honey

  • 1 Scoop of collagen powder

  • 1 Teaspoon of gelatin

METHOD

  • Take the 10 cotton squares and cut in half to create an under-eye shape.

  • In an 8fl oz cup brew the green tea and camomile in boiling water and set aside to cool.

  • Place all of the ingredients, including the cooled boiled water with loose leaf, into a blender and blend into a smooth paste.

  • Pour the mixture over the cut cotton squares and leave to soak for about ten minutes.

  • Put them in the freezer to set in a single layer and cover (They will keep in the freezer for about a month).

  • Before using the eye masks, defrost on the side for around 5-10 minutes. They are ready when slightly tacky to the touch.

  • Place the masks under your eyes for 10-15 minutes, sit back, relax and enjoy a cuppa.
