Making Pumpkin Chai Smoothies at Home
Making this pumpkin chai smoothie is so simple and just takes one well thought out step... making a batch of chai lattes the night before so that you can freeze some into ice cubes ready for a smoothie the next day. I would highly recommend making a HUGE batch of these coconut chai lattes and reserving some to add to your next pumpkin smoothie.
Once you have frozen chai latte in ice cubes, throw everything into your blender to make this totally marvelous pumpkin chai smoothie. Add optional toppings for extra indulgence and it’s that easy!

INGREDIENTS (Serves 2)
2 Heaped Teaspoons of Masala Chai (or 2 Tea Bags)
2 Cups of Milk (Regular, Oat, Soy, Coconut etc…)
4 Tablespoons of Yogurt (Greek, Coconut, Soy etc…)
1/2 Cup of Pumpkin Puree
1 Banana
1 Tablespoon of Almond Butter
2 Tablespoons of Maple Syrup
2 Scoops of Collagen Peptides - Optional
Sprinkle of Cinnamon to Serve - Optional
METHOD
Firstly brew a big batch of chai lattes by infusing the masala chai directly in the hot milk for 5-10 minutes before removing the tea. Pour into an ice cube mould and freeze for at least 4 hours.
Add the frozen tea, yogurt, puree, banana, almond butter, maple syrup and collagen peptides into a blender and mix everything together. You may need to add a dash of extra milk depending on the power of your blender.
Pour into glasses and top with a sprinkle of cinnamon.
